Suppose a patient in a dull, frozen room near death, suffering from great pain, wishing his/her life comes to end; what is your first impression? Is there any chance for being alive? How about euthanasia or mercy killing?
Some are committed to the fundamental belief that the intentional killing of another person is wrong. They have deep sympathy for those people who are suffering. Consider another side of the conflict, proponents of euthanasia who consider mercy killing necessary because patients, particularly those with terminal illness, experience uncontrollable pain. They argue that the only way to decrease the pain is to eliminate the patient.
Euthanasia fell into the category of things you knew but could never prove whether it’s fair or not. Discussions about euthanasia often get mired into a mountain of emotional questions such as:
Who decides when a life no longer has value? Some may say that if a patient is very old& is suffering from pain, what necessitate him or her to live longer? One may answer that every moment of life is beautiful & valuable even for a young or an old person. “There’s a danger when we start drawing a line to divide lives that have value from lives that do not. Where do people with severe disabilities fall? Their families might place them firmly in the “value” category.” Parents who afford expensive medical care though their awareness of this fact that their child would not stay alive, obviously they consider their child’s life valuable. We are also aware of how wrong doctors can be, & how often their predictions do not come true.
Another point is that today, advances are constantly being made in the treatment of pain & as they advance, the case for euthanasia decreases. Nearly all pain can be eliminated & in those rare cases where it can’t be eliminated, it can still be reduced significantly if proper treatment is provided.
Consider this: religions such as Islam, Christianity & Jewish believe that God gave life to us therefore, only he has the right to take it away. So euthanasia is somehow meddling in God’s affairs. According to this point of view some doctors believe that their duty is to survive not to kill.
There is another question; is euthanasia still unfair if you know that you can give the chance of living to at least 3 other patients by donating his/her alive organs? An accident happens, the person’s brain is dead but his heart is still beating, his vital organs are still working. In another place another person is suffering from heart disease, someone else has problem in his kidney & so many patients of this kind who are waiting, when the patient’s loved ones donate his alive organs; can we consider this as killing? Isn’t it sacrifice,

Wow. This is a great blog. And a meaty topic! I find it hard to accept the argument that we are meddling in God's affairs - surely we do that every time we prescribe an antibiotic or offer any form of treatment, don't we?
I know that I wouldn't want to be kept around suffering. Anyway, keep blogging!
Actually your idea is respectable for us, but consider a society under the police control.
Arresting a criminal seems to be meddling in society but it's for achieving a peacful community. So all interferings can't be bad and negative. It's the same as that treatment with antibiotic that you've mentioned.
On the other hand, when we saw a policeman beating someone even criminals on foreign news, we're all against it and opposed to it. It's a kind of meddling in society but in a negative way, isn't it? What do you think?

i dont bleave that human beangs have not a power to cure a patient.these is the obligation of god.but one person can give treatmentor hope it can be a hope that a patient stay alive

Thanks for your comment, as what I get from your reply I can say that every patient can have the hope of being alive But sometimes you see that a patient him/herself wants to die, so then what would you do?

Always the matter of choices… that’s what makes free-willed beings…actually it is hard to say what I would do on that situation, but I'm sure that living is the only thing I wouldn’t think in those terrible moments. I enjoyed your piece, but I think you will find it interesting to know the following information on the topic you’ve chosen. The word Euthanasia is of two Greek words (eu) means easy & relax and (thanatos) means death, all in all transfer" mercy killing". In 24th September 2000 an incident happened which pushed France, Europe, and finally the whole world into controversial discussions of the matter.
"Mr. president please accept my death", said Vansan Hamber, a French 22 year old boy whom in a terrible accident, lost his sight, his hearing, & more importantly he was unable to move his body. The only thing he had was a finger clicks away hardly in order to type the words. Eventually he asked his mom to end up his life & his mother did so for his unbearable situation. Of course she was put in jail for killing her son. But followed by oppositions from most politicians & religious leaders in France, Euthanasia was banned. But in the following December in the other countries: Netherlands, Canada and Switzerland it was made legal.

Enjoyed your information very much, we didn’t know Euthanasia is legal in countries like Canada or Switzerland. But as far as we know in Netherlands the so-called rule is performing under especial circumstances: e.g. the doctor should at least consult with one of his\her colleagues for the action. Or s\he should make sure this is the patient's own apply and that he must ask the patient to think about the circumstances crucially. The doctor should either diagnose that this kind of illness is not curable and is certainly out of endurance. 12-15 year olds can ask for the mercy killing only with their parent's allowance. After taking these steps the report will be sent to a commission including a doctor, a judge and a psychologist. Then if everything was according to the law, the case will be sent to the court for the final judgment.
