Searching websites, providing information on Iranian's nuclear program, you'll face so many comments for or against the opinion. "Iran, a member of the Axis of Evil", "a country which feels humiliated in an international underclass", and "Muslim terrorists" are the most frequent phrases among all. Judging the matter is not on our side but there are some truths beyond, including the questions need to be answered:" Should Iran be allowed nuclear power?" Or better to say, "Should any country around the world be allowed the nuclear power?" Or the most amazing questions like "Why does Iran need nuclear power when it has so much oil? Why there is a booming demand for electricity???"

Nuclear power, as an eternal energy, is among the safest and the most precious sources compared with fossil fuel, solar or wind power, since uranium which is more abundant and the large amount of electricity it provides is more than other primary sources. Nuclear power is more economical and is not harmful for the people and the environment as burning fossil fuels like coal do in large amounts. It saves the release of about 2.3 billion tons of carbon dioxide each year. Over 17% of the world's electricity is produced by 440 reactors. The French government discovered the advantages of the nuclear energy, and produces more than 77% of its whole electricity out of it. This movement is also visible on the other parts of the world; 35 stations are going to be constructed around the world, 24 of which are located in Asia. To name some of the countries with nuclear programs: Belgium, China, Hungary, India, Russia, Japan, UK, USA, and Switzerland.

Iran, the second largest Middle East country, established its first nuclear plant under the American's auspices in 1960. Some time later followed by the Islamic revolution it was suspended for years. But since all countries wants to be on the way to industrialization and none of them wants to be dependent on just a single, expensive power, Iran restarted its programs and since then no direct evidence has been detected for its proliferated activities in pursuing nuclear weapon. But in recent years for political reasons it is at the center of attention and some claim that Iran is producing nuclear weapons.

In countless occasions, it has been maintained by the Iranian government that their programs are being pursued only for the generation of power in a peaceful manner. President Ahmadinejad also proclaimed in his speeches to UN that Iran has an inalienable right to produce nuclear power like any other countries signatory to NPT under the inspection of IAEA therefore besides its oil and gas reserves it seeks nuclear energy, for gas and oil will be depleted one day. All in all Iran says "If it is not good for me, why is it good for others?", comparing its stance with countries like India, Pakistan and Israel as the countries with nuclear weapon, which are not to report their programs to NPT as they are not a party of it. Therefore it's not unfair to say that Iran's matter is the 21st century's hypocrisy, as it is apparent in people's comments around the world. Mike Neill from Hull, UK emphasizes" Is this debate about whether Iran should be allowed nuclear power or nuclear weapons? Everyone seems to be assuming that nuclear power means nuclear weapons. I defend Iran's right to develop nuclear power for domestic use, but I oppose any country having nuclear weapons. Iran has proclaimed on countless occasions that they do not intend to build a nuclear bomb. We should trust their word. If they are proven to have lied, then, and only then should they be punished. To refer them to the Security Council at this early stage would have catastrophic effects on the country and the people of Iran."

All we must do is to think of the situation to see why about 20-25 years ago we were to provide nuclear power by the American's assistance but now we are asked to stop the way by them. Jack Straw said, "This is nothing but a game. If Iran ratifies Israel and does not reject its right to exist, it can generate nuclear power…"who knows maybe there exists something else beneath.

In the Heart of Terror

It seems as if everyone who has gone camping has an adventure story. Well, here’s mine.
I put out my sleeping bag one night in Tochal mountain, a beautiful and exciting place for camping. I climbed into the sleeping bag and as it was a cool night, I covered my head with the end of it. Then I went to sleep and can you imagine how I was awakened early the next morning? Someone or something was pushing very gently on my sleeping bag. Then I heard breathing. “It must be a deer.” I thought. “If I stay very quite and move slowly, I’ll be able to open the sleeping bag and see what’s going on.”

So I looked out very carefully, but I was just shocked cause what I saw was not what I had expected to see. One meter away from the end of my sleeping bag, were two large, hairy, brown paws with the longest, sharpest claws I had ever seen. That’s all I could see through the small opening at the end of my sleeping bag.

Well, what do you do when a huge bear is sniffing at your sleeping bag? “Maybe it’ll go away if I just don’t move” This is one of the frightening thoughts that came to my mind at that time. So I stayed very quite, almost afraid to breathe.

A moment later, one foot disappeared from my view through the opening in the sleeping bag. A second later it had reappeared within two centimeters of my nose. And then the other foot followed to complete this exciting scene. Obviously this animal was not going to leave quickly. Did I smell good for breakfast or it was just curiousity of the bear that make it come seeing me?
Suddenly, the sniffing got louder, and the pushing on the sleeping bag got stronger. The sniffing was at my head now can you imagine? I couldn’t stay where I was any longer and I couldn’t get out of the sleeping bag so I made a quick move to the side, and at that moment its jaws closed loudly, biting deep into the sleeping bag where my head had just been.

I shouted! Yeah, I shouted as loud as possible. And the bear ran away. I guess it really was just curious and not hungry. But I was almost a good breakfast for the bear anyway!!

Mysteries of the world

There is a very short distance between our dreams and the truths. They are sometimes intermingled crucially that it even makes it hard for us to distinguish them or to understand what is going on. Every year thousands of people in countries all over the world report they have seen mysterious things or objects like UFOs. Judging how far they are true needs investigation, but what I am relating now is a touching story happened to my uncle in the fall of 1966.

In about 40 years ago there used to be no bathrooms in most of the houses, so what people tend to do was attending to the public ones. One of them was located in Hassan-Abad Street. After a hard-working day when my uncle was passing the street he felt taking a bath will refresh him. There was always something about this place made him run faster. It was late at night and it was supposed to be closed in just a few minutes. Regardless of the time he entered the building and asked for a room for having a shower. The bath owner reminding him of the time told that it was going to be closed and that there was no one in the bath. Insisting on his saying, my uncle went ahead but promised not to take a long time.

Having a hot bath then feeling his feet sink in the cold water was that much tranquilizing which made him lost in another world. All of a sudden he became aware of the time by the sounds of splashing water, men shouting and laughing at one another. Then he realized the bath owner shouting out his name repeatedly:
"Mr. Hassan… Mr. Hassan… the time is over, I can't wait for you till dawn …it's going to be closed, hurry up... ".
Having washed himself he left the room and amazingly saw dwarfs playing and washing themselves around the pool. As he went out to put on his clothes, he told the owner:
"Why do you solely call me out sir, there are a lot of people there in the bath…?!"
Then he faced the bath owner's face in a complete daze telling him he is the only folk and he was just waiting for him. Being persistent my uncle made the owner to check inside, but the result was the same… The owner told they were alone there…

What is your point of view on this incident? Do these kinds of sightings prove the existence of other creatures beside humans in our planet? Like "clever foreigners" or "Jinn" as mentioned in Quran? I'm not sure about you but I DO BELIEVE in it…

Rest in peace!

I don’t know what to say & where to start; I just know that I lost a part of my heart, my best friend, Nazanin, who was more a sister to me than a friend. Alike her name, she was very tender, lovely, kind & unique. Right now that I’m writing to you, 5 years has passed from that incident in the spring.
Nazanin was the daughter of my father’s friend, a kind man whom I called uncle. He & his wife could not have children & because of this, they loved children very much. Finally after 8 years God gave them a lovely girl. At that time I was only 4 but still remember their shiny faces, their happiness & their smile. It was as if they were on cloud nine. Life began a new, everything changed, Nazanin became their life, breath, entity. In fact she became everything for them.
Day by day she became more & more beautiful, with those large blue eyes & black wavy hair. She was exactly like a doll, sweet & attractive. She had become my entity too, I watched her carefully whenever we were together, and in fact I was like her elder sister. I can not tell how much we were happy together with our families.
But that happy life didn’t last forever, at the age of 12 she got sick. Her illness began with headache, at first it was not that important but each day it became worse. Another sign was falling down while walking, in other hand imbalance. Later on doctors said that there is a tumor in her brain which should be experimented to see whether it’s benign or not. I couldn’t believe that. It was more like a flat joke rather than a bitter truth. How can I live without her? What would happen to her parents?
Fortunately experiments showed a benign tumor & doctors said that they can take it out with a surgery. Thanks God! Everything was ok again. After 3 weeks Nazanin came back home. Again she brought happiness & laughter among us. We were all given a new life.
3 months passed. One day me & Nazanin went to a park near their house, as we were walking, suddenly she fell on the ground. For a moment those gloomy pictures of her illness passed in front of my eyes. I helped her sit on a bench & asked what happened dear? Are you all right? She said it’s ok, don’t worry! Then we came back. On the way back to our home, I was thinking to that incident, there was something in my mind telling me that she is not ok, that she is trying to conceal something. It was as if her large blue eyes wanted to tell me something. My mind could not get rid of these thoughts.
I could see that sometimes she felt dizzy or had headache but never complained, unlike me she was very patient. I told her several times to go to her doctor but she refused. These indifferences had been intolerable &
Made me took her to doctor by force. But now I wish I wouldn’t do that.
On the way to the office Nazanin divulged her secret. Can you guess what it was? Yes, the tumor came back again but this time as malignant. She had referred to doctor during these 3 months & he said that this time it’s incurable. For a moment everything was turning around my head, my heart was beating fast, then she gazed me with a significant look which meant don’t say a word.
I was the only person who knows this. She gave me a letter in which she had talked to her parents & asked them to bring a child from nursery after her death. I wish I could stop moments but it was impossible.
Nazanin finally died on the 5th day of spring at the age of 13. I don’t know how to describe her character, I just know that she was the manifestation of love, kindness, friendship &…. After 2 years of insisting on, finally they accepted my request to bring a girl from nursery. They named her Nazanin & right now she is 10.
Dear Nazanin I missed you a lot. I did my best to make your wish come true, sorry if it took time, you know how painful it was especially for your father. Hope that this makes you happy. You’ll be always in my heart.

Who Live Like Animal???

have you ever had a chat with American or British people? What is their idea about your country? positive or negative?
Today, as I am looking at different weblogs I found a Great article about this matter. It's the story of one of my friends chatting with an American guy who has an absolutely unfair outlook on Iran and Iranian people.

To be or not to be

Suppose a patient in a dull, frozen room near death, suffering from great pain, wishing his/her life comes to end; what is your first impression? Is there any chance for being alive? How about euthanasia or mercy killing?

Some are committed to the fundamental belief that the intentional killing of another person is wrong. They have deep sympathy for those people who are suffering. Consider another side of the conflict, proponents of euthanasia who consider mercy killing necessary because patients, particularly those with terminal illness, experience uncontrollable pain. They argue that the only way to decrease the pain is to eliminate the patient.

Euthanasia fell into the category of things you knew but could never prove whether it’s fair or not. Discussions about euthanasia often get mired into a mountain of emotional questions such as:

Who decides when a life no longer has value? Some may say that if a patient is very old& is suffering from pain, what necessitate him or her to live longer? One may answer that every moment of life is beautiful & valuable even for a young or an old person. “There’s a danger when we start drawing a line to divide lives that have value from lives that do not. Where do people with severe disabilities fall? Their families might place them firmly in the “value” category.” Parents who afford expensive medical care though their awareness of this fact that their child would not stay alive, obviously they consider their child’s life valuable. We are also aware of how wrong doctors can be, & how often their predictions do not come true.

Another point is that today, advances are constantly being made in the treatment of pain & as they advance, the case for euthanasia decreases. Nearly all pain can be eliminated & in those rare cases where it can’t be eliminated, it can still be reduced significantly if proper treatment is provided.

Consider this: religions such as Islam, Christianity & Jewish believe that God gave life to us therefore, only he has the right to take it away. So euthanasia is somehow meddling in God’s affairs. According to this point of view some doctors believe that their duty is to survive not to kill.

There is another question; is euthanasia still unfair if you know that you can give the chance of living to at least 3 other patients by donating his/her alive organs? An accident happens, the person’s brain is dead but his heart is still beating, his vital organs are still working. In another place another person is suffering from heart disease, someone else has problem in his kidney & so many patients of this kind who are waiting, when the patient’s loved ones donate his alive organs; can we consider this as killing? Isn’t it sacrifice,
Beyond description?

Now by all these explanations what do you think? Is it fair or unfair? It’s a matter of choice but gentlewomen will be glad to see your comments on this subject.

Myanmar

Imagine you have a chance to travel to one asian country: which one do you choose? China, Malaysia, japan, India ..........? My desision is different as I decide to go to Myanmar. you may ask Why she wants to travel to Myanmar when there are a lot of other wellknown countries. So let me explain:
Scientists has confirmed that Myanmar is the earliest home of mankind. Do you know what does it mean? This could be the home of our great great grand parents millions of years ago. So it should be interesting to see the home of our ansectors. By traveling to Myanmar we can see 135 Myanmar ethnic groups and its culture, which is much influenced by neighboring China, India and Thailand. Imagine how a mixture of all these 4 interesting cultures may look like. Are you interested to know more about Myanmar? If yes, accompany me in this travel to Myanmar through this article.

Myanmar, or Burma is located in the southeastern Asia, bordering the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal, between Bangladesh and Thailand. Myanmar offers unspoiled nature, magnificent and ancient Buddhist temples,virgin jungles, snow-capped mountains,as well as warm and hospitable people, combined with a rich and more than two thousand years glorious heritage.
We can find Greatest Wonders of The World in Myanmar. The Shwe Dagon Pagoda is the largest building in the whole world which is covered with gold. You can also say it is.. the largest golden monument, the most valuable building, the largest golden pyramid of the world.
The world's largest ringing bell, Mingun Bell in Myanmar, is still hung in Sagaing and can still ring. It is 26 feet high and weighs 90.55 metric tons . You can ring it. You can get underneath it and take photo. WOW! Isn't that exciting? Hit it with your fist and shout "I've rung the world's greatest ringing bell!"
The Man who could learn the whole Buddhist bible by heart is called U Wiseiktha Tharar Biwuntha from Myanmar. He was a well-known Buddhist monk and the first man in history who could learn the whole Buddhist scriptures by heart. He passed away in 1994.
Now it's the turn of their arts: There are 10 traditional arts in Myanmar which are called " Ten Flowers".
1-Panbe ( the art of blacksmith)
2-Panbu ( the art of sculpture )
3-Pantain ( the art of gold and silver smith )
4-Pantin( the art of bronze casting )
5-Pantaut ( the art of making floral designs using masonry )
6-Panyan ( the art of bricklaying and masonry )
7-Pantamault ( the art of sculpting with stone )
8-Panpoot ( the art of turning designs on the lathe )
9-Panchi ( the art of painting )
10-Panyun ( the art of making lacquer ware )
One interesting point about Myanmar is their reigion. Religious intolerance or discrimination on grounds of religion is non-existence in the Myanmar throughout it's long history. The main religions of present day Myanmar are Buddhism (89.20%), Christianity (5.05%), Muslims (3.78%), Hindus (0.55%), and Animism (1.27%) and other faiths such as Bahai Sikhs, Lipian fujianhal, Chinese, etc.(0.61%). Freedom of religion is practiced in Myanmar, although a majority are Buddhists in Myanmar. But Myanmar seems democratic that Buddhism is not defined as the official religion of the country.
One shockingly interesting point is the 8Days in a Week in Myanmar. Yes, that's right. According to their traditional's astronomy, there are 8 days in a week. The trick is the very middle part of a week, 'Wednesday evening' is called "Yarhu". However Yarhu is not considered as a significant day of week and it is not printed in the calendars.
To this day Myanmar remains one of the most mysterious and undiscovered destinations in the world. A land of breathtaking beauty and charm yet only recently emerging into the modern world. China, an ancient, civilized, attractive country in the heart of Asia

THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA is the third largest country in the world in terms of area and the largest in terms of population. Its total area is 9.6 million square kilometers and its population is 1.2 billion. AS one of the world’s most ancient civilizations, it has a recorded history of nearly 4,000 years.
China was one of the countries where economic activity first developed. As early as 5,000 to 6,000 years ago, people in the Yellow River valley had already started farming and raising livestock. More than 3,000 years ago, people learned how to smelt bronze and use iron tools. White pottery and glazed pottery were produced. Silk production was well developed, and the world’s first figured inlaid silk weaving technique was being used.
As you know China has an enormous population, so adequate employment is a serious problem, do you know that how the government managed to solve this problem? In an effort to solve this problem, beginning in 1993 the Chinese government has allowed the market to function as the basic lever for the allocation of labor, a labor services market policy has been implemented, greater avenues to employment have been opened, and a new setup has been established, Labor and skill markets have been established all over the country, therefore the number of people employed in China has been growing rapidly & the unemployment rate reduced to 3.1 percent.0
China has a wide variety of arts and crafts with exquisite workmanship. They can be classified into special and folk types. Special arts and crafts, such as ivory carving, jade carving and Shoushan stone carving use precious or special materials, and undergo elaborate designing and processing. They are elegant and expensive.The following are famous special arts and crafts. The major ivory carving centers are Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai. Beijing is mainly famed for ivory carvings of figures of ladies as well as flowers and birds. Guangzhou is well known for its exquisitely carved ivory balls. Shanghai is famous for its delicate ivory figures. The ivory carvings are exquisitely executed and lifelike. However, the technique of ivory carving is gradually declining for lack of materials. Jade carving takes the natural lines, luster and colors of jade into consideration. Craftsmen ingeniously integrate the colors with the shapes of the art works, fully displaying the glory of nature. Stone carving is created using various rare types of stone, such as the Shoushan Stone and Tianhuang Stone. Cloisonne is a kind of handicraft well known at home and abroad. The blue glaze produced during the reign of the Ming Dynasty is considered the best. Created by mounting copper strips and plating gold and silver on the surface of a copper roughcast, it looks magnificent. The products include bottles, bowls, and cups used as prizes, etc.
Chinese folk arts, with a broad mass foundation as well as a long history, contain profound cultural and historical connotations. They can stimulate people’s aesthetic sense. In technique, Chinese folk arts fall into the categories of cutting, bundling, plaiting, knitting, embroidering, carving, molding and painting.
China’s tourism has developed rapidly. In 1999, the number of tourists entering China reached 72.8 million, of which 8.43 million were foreign tourists. The income from this industry reached US$14.1 billion, China has become an important tourism destination in Asia, and the fifth large tourism country in the world. Now, China is fast on its way to becoming a country with developed tourism, and constantly improving tourism facilities and services. It is estimated that, by 2020, China will be the world’s No. 1 tourism destination and the fourth-largest nation of tourists. tourists may climb the Great Wall and visit the Imperial Palace and Temple of Heaven in Beijing, and view the terracotta warriors and horses excavated from the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, the Stele Forest and the Great Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi’an, wander along the bustling Bund and Nanjing Road and through the Pudong New Zone in Shanghai, enjoy Suzhou’s gardens and the sights of the West Lake in Hangzhou.In 2000, China is sponsoring the “New Millennium-China 2000” The program consists of dozens of tourism celebrations and festivals, such as the Ice and Snow Festival, Lantern Festival, and Pingyao Ancient City Cultural Festival. People in china have different religions. For Muslims, the government provides various services for pilgrimages. Since the 1980s, more than 40,000 Chinese Muslims have gone to Mecca. Now Xinjiang has more than 23,000 mosques, and 29,000 clergy to meet the religious needs of Muslims. The Islamic Association of Xinjiang has founded the Institute of Islamic Theology, and published the Koran in the Uygur language. The Chinese government respects the dietetic customs and burial rites of the minority peoples who believe in Islam, and has worked out laws and regulations on producing Muslim food and opened Muslim cemeteries.

Iran: a mixed blessing
(Don’t judge by the rumors...)

There are numerous interested Europeans who would like to take a trip to Iran. But due to …?!...they've tended to take a dusty view of the things going on here.
A philosophical change began to down on Mr. Kurt Auhuber, a German tourist, who dared to travel to Iran (for the 5th time) as he visited the country for 25 days by his own car. The sea sparkling on the right, the rivers threading their way down the valleys on your left or the antique monuments are not the only magnificent parts of the trip," the attractions of the Iranian tribal life and culture (Balouchi, Ghashgai, Bakhtiari, Ghileni, Kurdi, Azari, and Kashkuli, …of Iran) and its villagers were that much stunning which I accommodated just 4 days in a hotel and the rest with the hospitable local people", said Mr. Auhuber.
He claimed he didn't have any problem during his residence and that he would try his best to reflect his witnesses in German mass media especially "Drive" magazine( translated in 4 languages, in 500000 circulation throughout Europe) in order to change the views spreading wrongly all over the world of the country. He added," Iranian tourism industry is productive with unique and potential capabilities. Of coarse there are some trivial weaknesses such as inappropriate public lavatories or food services on the roads. But all of them are overshadowed by the positive points (its culture, people's hospitality, etc.). That's what makes traveling here the most outstanding moment of my life."
